We are from the east coast of Canada, have traveled our great country from Coast to Coast and from sea to shining sea around the world. The highlight of attending the Miami Super Event was meeting 2 of the company owners, Rachel & Shane.
We travelled across Canada in 2020. Family needs took us back home to the Maritimes and closed borders took us to BC. Here we are in the majestic Canadian Rockies.
We achieved our goal of having an RV Port on the Atlantic Coast of Canada. It's good to be home!
ROB: For 30+ years I worked my way up the corporate ladder. I started in sales selling 3M Telex systems. I remember getting a commission check for $1.83 the week before Christmas. Those were hard days. If there was one take away, it was the feeling that I had to change my thinking. I had the drive to achieve but I needed to equip myself with the tools and the knowledge needed to do so. I found Stephen Covey and Tony Robbins and applied their practices to my everyday life. Great things started happening. At the height of my career, I was managing a team of over 30 hardworking people, achieving over $100m in sales a year, achieved Top Performer Club awards and the coveted President's Club Award as the #1 Sales Leader (North America) 4 out of 6 years in that role. At the time of my retirement, I was a Vice President for a high-tech company. I had achieved what I set out to do years earlier.
SUE: I also worked in my chosen field for over 30 years. I started my career as a hotel front desk receptionist, moved on to being a travel agent/tour director (more exciting), and thought the brass ring was working my way up to Branch Manager. I loved what I was doing. I loved hearing the stories of my clients' adventures knowing I had been a part of those dreams. I was fortunate in that I was able to travel to some amazing places and have my own experiences along the way.
SO WHAT CHANGED: Rob was offered early retirement. For the next couple of years, we traveled and caught up with friends all the while wondering ... what next? Our financial planner sent us an invitation to attend a seminar on how to settle into retirement. That seminar changed our lives. Retirement didn't mean that we stopped working. It meant that we could start something new that fulfilled the need that we were experiencing. We had previously been working 12 hour days, 6 days a week for someone else and knew that we were not interested in going back to the grind of a traditional office environment. We had also previously enjoyed a hard earned 6 figure income and wanted that back. We needed to be our own boss while keeping the flexibility and portability of the lifestyle that we had grown accustomed to.
WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME: We went looking for a business opportunity that would give us what we were looking for and pay us for the efforts that we would be putting in. We didn't want the expense of overhead, staff salaries, escalating rent or the effects that a pandemic would have on that business. That's when we were introduced to Shane & Rachel Krider. In them, we found the tools and the path to achieving a lifestyle of freedom and flexibility. The only limits would be the ones that we put on ourselves.
We learned this. If not now, when? When will you decide that working for a set salary, in a set environment, is not for you? That there is NO GREATER TIME to take that step to freedom, wealth, and a better you!
